QEP/TIPS
Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC) is invested in the success of every student enrolled. To increase student success, HCTC has developed for its Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) the TIPS (Transition Investment Pathways for Students) program to help prepare students with the successful transition to college and career, with an emphasis on soft skills.

The University Center of the Mountains (UCM), located in Room 119 in the First Federal Center on the Hazard Campus, is a dynamic consortium of postsecondary educational institutions bringing more bachelor's and master's degrees and educational opportunities close to home in southeastern Kentucky.
