HCTC Online
Hazard Community and Technical College has been offering online education for over 20 years. We take pride in our online education offerings providing flexibility for all students. HCTC has developed four online learning options: 100% Online, Hybrid, and Live Classroom. While online education isn't for everyone, many students who cannot attend classes on campus due to scheduling conflicts, childcare, work, or other commitments find that HCTC Online options make quality higher education highly accessible, affordable, and flexible. HCTC Online courses require a computer with Internet access, and students need to have basic skills to be successful. HCTC Online classes require communication with faculty and other students via e-mail, discussion groups, or other online collaboration tools. Some courses require online proctored exams. HCTC faculty are available to support you in any online learning option you choose. Classes follow a schedule of assignments/due dates, and the mode of delivery varies by program. Not all options are available in all programs.
