What is Visual Communications?

Visual communications is the practice of using visual elements to communicate information or ideas. Visual Communications Programs offers one certificate: Digital Photography. Digital Photography is the art and practice of capturing, editing, and producing compelling photographic images to communicate ideas and tell stories. Our Digital Photography Certificate Program provides the essential skills needed to create and enhance photographs for personal, professional, or creative projects. Students will learn techniques in camera operation, lighting, composition, and digital editing to produce high-quality images for various media. This certificate can complement any degree and may be applied as electives toward an AA, AS, or the Computer Information and Technologies degree.

The screen displays a simple black silhouette of a figure in a dress, with design software open. Other computers with scenic wallpapers are visible in the background, along with a magazine and some papers on the desk.
