Our HCTC academic calendar has everything you need to know about deadlines, registration dates, tuition due dates, holidays, special events, and the beginning and end of each term.
Each term can have several sessions. The most common sessions are listed below for each term. Those include 16-week sessions, 1st and 2nd 8 week sessions, 14-week session, and 12-week session.
Each course has its own calendar that can be viewed in the student center in your Student Self Service (PeopleSoft).
Spring 2026
12/12/2025 - Last day to pay to avoid cancellation
12/15/2025 - Session begins
12/15/2025 - Last day to add
12/21/2025 - Last day to drop w/o grade and with 50% refund
1/19/2026 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day (college closed)
2/23/2025 - Presidents Day (college closed)
3/1/2026 - Registration for Summer/Fall 2026 begins
12/28/2025 - Midterm, last day to drop with auto “W”
1/2/2026 - Last day to drop with instructor approval
1/8-9/2026 - Finals week (may be used as instructional week, as needed)
4/3/2026 – Good Friday (1/2 day college closed)
5/9/2026 - Graduation
5/10/2026 - Session ends
5/11/2026 - Instructor grades due by noon
1/9/2026 - Last day to pay to avoid cancellation
