My name is Richard Ramsey and when I'm not helping students, I am busy trying to get my son to put down the video games. I like seeing different places and trying different foods (Hard to tell, right?). I also love playing pool. My eyesight isn't the greatest, but I still enjoy playing. I love to laugh and have fun. Life is too short and I think we need to have fun while we are here.

We are here to help! Brainfuse, a third-party tutoring service, provides a virtual tutoring option during college off-hours. We strongly recommend students use HCTC tutors; you can schedule an appointment above by clicking “Schedule a tutoring appointment today!” We understand that problems may arise after hours, on weekends, or college breaks, so please, take advantage of these tutoring services if you are having difficulties.

The time to seek assistance from a tutor is the minute you realize you need help. If you're still not sure, ask yourself these questions:
- Am I falling behind in class?
- Am I having trouble with homework assignments?
- Have I done poorly on tests I have taken?
- Do I have difficulty writing a paper?
- Have I been flagged through Starfish or been referred by an instructor?
If you answered "Yes" to even one question above, you should visit a tutoring location soon.
