Lucy Langdon has over 10 years’ experience working in higher education as program coordinator with Hazard Community and Technical College. Lucy’s passionate about assisting students with non-academic barriers such as, access to housing, transportation, childcare, and other basic needs such as mental health services that may often hinder a student from successful education completion. Lucy has provided career counseling/coaching services to students, providing a clear and obtainable pathway to a successful career. Lucy’s certification as a supported employment provider, and experience in various workforce sectors, has provided students’ a clear-cut view of various certifications, diplomas, and degrees, along with connections to employment and career opportunities.

Lucy incorporates a holistic approach to helping students succeed. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Lucy provides an empathetic understanding of the many struggles that students often face in their family lives and educational/career journeys.

Lucy is excited to bring her previous experiences to assist students by creating strategies that will keep the student engaged from the onset of their educational journey to completion of their career goals.
