Associate Degree Graduates Who Transfer Within One Year: Measured by the percentage of associate degree graduates in the academic year who enrolled at a four-year institution by the academic year after the term end date of the term the first associate degree was earned, or in the next academic year.  The objective is to increase transfers by an average of 1.0 percentage point each year using the 2013-14 cohort as the baseline.

HCTC identifies the measures below for student achievement.  Each measure includes the most recent data available and a definition of the measure. Measures 1, 2, and 4 derive from the Integrated Postsecondary Education System (IPEDS).  Measures 3, 5, and 6 are derivations of measures included in the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education’s 2016-2022 Strategic Agenda.  Measure 7 derives from the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) 2016-2022 Strategic Plan.

 
For all measures, HCTC's threshold is to meet or exceed the median per each metric for its comparison group.  HCTC's target strategy is to increase by one percentage point over HCTC's prior year.
