College Advisory Council

In accordance with House Bill 619 (2026), Hazard Community and Technical College is transitioning from a College Board of Directors to a College Advisory Council. The Council will serve as an important link between the college and the communities it serves, bringing together leaders from business, industry, education, government, and community organizations to provide insight on workforce needs, community priorities, and opportunities to support student success.

The College Advisory Council serves in an advisory capacity and helps ensure that Hazard Community and Technical College remains responsive to the educational, workforce, and economic needs of the region while advancing the mission of KCTCS.

As the transition to the College Advisory Council model continues, council membership and additional information will be posted as appointments are finalized.
