CDL-Training

We offer both day and night classes!!  

This course will prepare students for the Class A Commercial Drivers License with 160 hours of training in as little as 4 weeks. Students will learn how to drive tractor trailer trucks, apply their knowledge of commercial driving regulations, maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations, and inspect trucks and their equipment. Cost of the course is $2750.00, however additional fees for physical, drug screen, permit and licensing fees are not included in tuition price. Tuition assistance may be available for those who qualify.

CLASS START DATES FOR 2022:

March 21 (Day Class) 8 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday

April 25 (Day Class) 8 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday

April 25 (Night Class) 5 pm-11:30 pm Monday through Friday

July 11 (Day Class) 8 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday

August 1 (Day Class) 8 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday

August 29 (Day Class) 8 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday

September 12 (Day Class) 8 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday

Day classes are four weeks in length. Night classes are 6 weeks in length.

Professional Licensure Disclosure

This program meets state and authorization for Kentucky residents. If you live or plan to live outside of the state of Kentucky, consult with you state's licensing/ certification board to determine if your chosen path of study will meet their requirements. After successful completion of the Practical Nursing Program at Hazard Community and Technical College, the graduate is able to sit for the NCLEX-PN Exam to gain licensure. KCTCS and HCTC continously reviews licensure information and provides information about state's licensure status, search your state and program.
