ARH Healthcare Scholarship

ARH and Hazard Community and Technical College have partnered to offer scholarships for Registered Nursing Students. Both entities believe that providing financial assistance, in the form of scholarships, to students accepted and enrolled in the nursing program increases the confidence, technical skill, and loyalty of students as well as provides a wealth of benefits to potential future employees as there is an employment commitment provision with the acceptance of the proposed scholarship. 

These scholarships will be offered to students who have been accepted/enrolled in the two-year RN program, with a signed employment commitment back to ARH.  Upon successful completion of the program, eligible students are offered employment in a full-time nursing position at one of the locations within the ARH network. The students will still be eligible for any applicable sign-on bonus or student loan repayment plan offered by ARH. 

ARH agrees to offer two types of scholarship awards; a scholarship amount of $1750.00 per semester, up to 4 semesters, based upon the current credit tuition rate, if they have additional financial aid, conditional with a 2-year employment commitment back to ARH.  If they do not have any financial aid, a scholarship amount of $3750.00 per semester, up to 4 semesters, based upon the current credit tuition rate, conditional with a 3-year employment commitment back to ARH. There will be a total of 10 scholarships awarded per semester, 20 annually.
