If you need a meal, Perry County Schools Food Service is going to be preparing breakfast (8:00-9:30) and lunch (11:00-1:00) at each school for anyone in the community who may want a

SNAP BENEFIT REPLACEMENT

If you lost food purchased with SNAP benefits due to flooding or loss of power, you have until Wednesday, February 25th to request replacement by calling DCBS at 855-306-8959

WIC

If you receive WIC benefits and were affected by the fooding, you can call with question about them at 606-666-7755.

VACCINES

If you are working in floodwaters or mud, it is recommended to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A and Tetanus. Vaccines can be obtained at the following location:

STEPS TO FOLLOW IF FLOODED IN BREATHITT COUNTY

Call the Breathitt County Fiscal Court at 606-666-3800

  • Take photos of all damage you received.
  • Inventory all damaged property and value.
  • When possible obtain copies of deeds and titles to your property.
