Upward Bound program celebrates 22 years

Former HCTC Upward Bound students enjoyed a celebration August 9 at the Technical Campus. Students shared how important the program was to them. The enjoyed traveling to numerous places, obtaining tutoring, and developing wonderful friendships. Upward Bound served residents of Breathitt, Knott, Letcher and Perry counties. The program will end on August 31st due to federal cuts. Upward Bound has been serving students for 22 years.
