Dr. Pate presents award to Tom CaudillTom Caudill, maintenance and operations supervisor at Hazard Community and Technical College, is the recipient of the Estella Salley Outstanding Staff Award because of his excellence in providing so many valuable services to faculty, staff, and the College campus. He was honored during Commencement on Saturday, May 7.

He gives credit to his team for their assistance in that venture, as well as their work in keeping the college in top-notch condition. HCTC serves students as well as a large number of special events and Caudill and his team have provided excellent service each and every time, noted Dr. Juston Pate, HCTC Interim President.

Stu Fugate, Director of Maintenance amp; Operations, said, We hear the utmost praise for our M and O department and we can attribute the cleanliness and fine working detail to Tom Caudill and his team. I m glad to see him recognized for his work.

Caudill said he enjoys working at HCTC. I feel like I m accomplishing something. I care about what happens. I am dedicated to do the best job I can. I care about the institution as a whole. I want to help all I can and make a difference, he said.

When offered praise about the cleanliness and the excellent workings of the college, Caudill deflected the praise to other members of the M and O staff whom he supervises. This good work is largely because of my team s effort, he said.
