Students honored for excellence at HCTC graduation
Hazard Community and Technical College presented awards during the May 10 graduation, recognizing student excellence. The President s Award went to Lyle Bruce Turner of Yerkes.
The students graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade average received the Distinguished Scholars recognition. In Associate in Arts, the recipients are Melissa Joanne Bush of Leburn and Alexander Douglas Noble of Jackson. In the Associate in Science, Aleshia Ann Whitaker of Cornettsville was honored. In the Associate in Applied Science, recognized were Corissa Rose Caudill of Viper Medical Information Technology, Kevin Scott Collins of Mallie Computer and Information Technologies, and Daronica R. Roberts of Hyden Radiography. For Diploma, Jacob Simon Sterling of Dale, IN Operating Engineer, was recognized.
