See Movement Workshop Group Nov. 7

A new contemporary dance theatre will perform in Hazard. The Greater Hazard Area Performing Arts Series will offer Movement Workshop Group in Racine D or on Thursday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. at The Forum in the Hal Rogers Center.

The Movement Workshop Group will tour Racine D or in collaboration with Grammy-nominated Zydeco band Cedric Watson et Bijou Creole. Inspired by Cajun folktales and the cultural wealth of Louisiana, it will include music and text in both English and French. The piece will also incorporate up to 10 ensemble dancers from our area high schools and community who will join Movement Workshop Group s professional dancers on stage.

Admission is $10 adults, $5 students (age 6 18) and children age five and younger are admitted for free. Go to hazardperformingarts.com to order tickets online.
