Radiography students see success in employment and on exam
Students in the HCTC/SKCTC Regional Radiography Program are seeing great success in both pass rates for the national board and in finding employment. All 17 of 17 graduates from the program sat for the National Boards (ARRT) and these 17 received a 100% pass rate as did last year’s graduates. Every single one of them that wish to work is employed. Homer Terry, Program Coordinator, is thrilled with this news. “This could never have been accomplished without this dedicated Radiography faculty who assist and support me and the students every single day in accomplishing such a feat. I also want to thank Terri Fields (HCTC) and Sabrina Mullins (SKCTC), administrative assistants, who have worked tirelessly supporting both faculty and students.” Homer Terry, President Dr. Jennifer Lindon, and Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College President Dr. Vic Adams expressed appreciation to clinical instructors who volunteer as mentors in the hospitals and clinics where students have internships.
