New recording lab at music school

Students at HCTC s Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music will benefit from a state-of-the art recording lab installed at the Leslie County Center. The lab has soundproof recording units allowing multiple musicians sound isolation. The units were custom built by Whisperroom Inc. of Tennessee. This equipment is impressive because of the great sound produced here, noted KSBTM Director Dean Osborne. Our students and graduates will benefit from access to this facility at the music school. It becomes an important component joining HCTC s general education classes, our performing arts venue, and research center.
