JJ Jent of Vicco, a cosmetology student at Hazard Community and Technical College,
received a $1600 scholarship given by Applebee. Jent expressed his deep appreciation
to Applebee s for creating the scholarship, having worked for Applebee s for nearly
three years. Jent said he is enjoying his classes and told Susan Johnson, Cosmetology
Program Coordinator, how much he appreciates the hands-on learning experience. Mrs.
Johnson is very encouraging, noted Jent, son of Paulette and Glenn Jent. I am always
ready to show up and learn.
