Hear from three HCTC presidential candidates next week

One of the finalists for the position of president/CEO of HCTC has withdrawn and a new candidate has been named.

The finalists now are:
Dr. Rick Mason, vice president and chief learning officer, Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College
Dr. Jennifer Lindon, Occupational Technologies/Workforce Solutions dean and chief campus administrator, HCTC.
Dr. Laura B. Leatherwood, vice president, student services, Haywood Community College, Clyde, North Carolina

The candidates are scheduled for on-campus visits and interviews April 13-14. During those visits candidates will meet with HCTC faculty, staff, students, the board of directors and local leaders. The public also will have an opportunity to meet the candidates at the following forums:
