HCTC seeking community members for presidential search committee

Hazard Community and Technical College will begin searching for a new president and five members of the community are asked to serve on the selection committee. A presidential profile development committee will be created in December and national search will begin in January. Anyone wanting to serve on the committee is asked to contact Delcie.Combs@kctcs.edu by email or by calling (606) 487-3100. The deadline for submissions is noon on Monday, Nov. 30. The committee will be named on Tuesday, Dec. 1 by the president of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Dr. Jay Box and the HCTC Board of Directors Chair Pat Wooton. The members of the committee will serve with HCTC faculty and staff and Chair Wooton.

The new president will be named in April with a proposed start date of June 1.
