HCTC PTA student named to KPTA All Academic Team
Jasmine Robertson of Jackson, a student at HCTC, has been named to the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association (KPTA) 2010 KPTA All-Academic Team. Students from the physical therapist and physical therapist assistant programs from across the Commonwealth were eligible for consideration. The purpose of the team is to recognize outstanding physical therapy students who are likely to make a significant impact upon the physical therapy profession on a community, state, or national level. Candidates were evaluated on academic performance, extracurricular and campus activities, community service and service to the physical therapy profession. Additionally, each student submitted an essay describing the candidate s selection of physical therapy as a profession and their personal and professional goals.
Jasmine Robertson has demonstrated a high level of excellence in the classroom and clinic. I m very proud to see her honored by being named to this academic team, noted Tracy Bowling, Program Coordinator for the HCTC/SKCTC PTA Regional Program.
