HCTC promotes nine faculty members

Hazard Community and Technical College promoted nine faculty members, effective July 1.

Those promoted and their new ranking are: Doug Adams of Pippa Passes, professor; Jimmy Caudill of Smilax, professor; Joanna Martin of Pippa Passes, associate professor; JP Mathes of Johnson City, TN, associate professor; Dr. Beth Pennington of Whitesburg, associate professor; Amanda Spencer-Barnes of Beattyville, associate professor; Vera Stamper of Hazard, associate professor; Michael Flynn of Hindman, assistant professor; and Wilma Maggard of Hazard, assistant professor.

HCTC President Dr. Jennifer Lindon congratulated each faculty member on their achievement. This is a fine group of faculty members who have the highest standards of excellence and care deeply about our students and their success. I m happy to see each has achieved this milestone in their careers.
