HCTC holds College Fair

college rep speaking to studentsMore than 500 students from ten area high schools attended the College Fair at Hazard Community and Technical College on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The college representatives spoke to students about their offerings. The schools are from Jackson City, Perry Central, Cordia, Riverside, Breathitt County, Buckhorn, Owsley County, Leslie County, Hazard, and Knott County.

The 31 colleges and universities participating included: Alice Lloyd College, Big Sandy Community and Technical College, Campbellsville University, Centre College, Concord University, East Tennessee State University, Eastern Kentucky University, Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, Kentucky State University, Lindsey Wilson College, Midway University, Morehead State University, Kentucky National Guard, Northern Kentucky University, Radford University, School of Advertising Art, Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College, Spencerian College - Lexington, St. Catharine College, Transylvania University, Union College, University Center of the Mountains, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, University of Pikeville, University of the Cumberlands, UPS, West Virginia University Institute of Technology, Western Kentucky University, and West Virginia State University.
