HCTC and KCTCS recognize benefactors

Hazard Community and Technical College and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System recognized benefactors during the 14th annual President s Gala and Benefactors Awards Dinner in Lexington on Nov. 9.

Benefactors recognized this year by HCTC were Jeanette and Bill Hall and L.D. Gorman, all of Hazard.
More than 600 state and local dignitaries from across the Commonwealth attended the event. This event provides an opportunity for KCTCS to honor an impressive list of 34 of the state s leading individuals, business and foundations for their generous philanthropic and voluntary support to KCTCS.

HCTC President Dr. Steve Greiner noted, We are very appreciative of the support from Jeanette and Bill Hall and L.D. Gorman because they recognize the importance of education and are committed to seeing our students succeed. KCTCS President Michael B. McCall joined Dr. Greiner in recognizing the benefactors and expressing his thanks for their generosity.
