Free music performance at Lees

music school students and facultyHCTC will host students from the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music on Tuesday, April 23, at noon at the Lees College Campus library in Jackson. Performing will be, from left, Bobby Earl Whitaker III (guitar), Caleb Edwards (mandolin), James Colwell (bass), and faculty members Curtis Burch and JP Mathes. The Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music is dedicated to the study, performance, preservation, promotion and advancement of heritage music in the cultural traditions of Kentucky and the Appalachian mountains. Dean Osborne is director of KSBTM which offers degree, diploma and certificate options. Please make plans to attend a great bluegrass music performance which is free and open to the public.
