Fire school attracts 1,100

The 37th annual Mountain Firefighters Association held training at Hazard Community and Technical College during the weekend. Classes offered included rescue training, vehicle extrication, and safety. Classes were both in class and hands on. About 1,100 firefighters from throughout the region attended.
