Dillion honored at HCTC with staff award

HCTC has named Lisa Dillion as the Estella Salley Outstanding Staff award recipient because of her hard work in maintaining the beauty of the college campus and willingness to assist students and visitors.

I have never felt more appreciated in my life, noted Mrs. Dillion, who has worked at HCTC since July 2003.

HCTC President Dr. Steve Greiner said Mrs. Dillion was recognized because of the great pride she takes in her work. She talks to students, anticipating if they need directions. She has gone out of her way to help students, noted President Greiner.

Mrs. Dillion noted she wants students to feel welcomed and she works to help create a friendly environment. I feel accomplished in helping so many people, she said.

Prior to working at HCTC, she worked at Viper Elementary for ten years.

She and her husband, Michael Dillion, have two grown children Michelle and Matthew, who both live in Perry County.
