David B. Crawford of Hazard is the Eastern Kentucky University School of Justice
Studies Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award recipient for 2013. He was recognized
at the Night of Distinguished Professionals awards dinner on Wednesday, April 3, at
EKU. Crawford currently attends EKU through the University Center of the Mountains
(UCM) located on the Hazard Campus of Hazard Community and Technical College. David
is just one example of the fine group of students who are continuing their education
right here at home through the UCM. He has taken advantage of the various resources
available to him, and he is one of our success stories, observed UCM Director Deronda
Mobelini. All of us in the UCM are proud of his accomplishments. Crawford plans
to attend law school.
