Crafters announced for HCTC Craft and Cultural Fair

crafts on displayThe annual Hazard Community and Technical College Craft and Cultural Fair will be held Monday, Nov. 28 and Tuesday, Nov. 29 in the First Federal Center, room 123 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Must-see live demonstrations are part of the day. On Tuesday, students from the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music will perform around noon.

The event is open to the public with no admission charge. Regional artists and craftsmen will demonstrate and sell their wares.

Items to be sold include stained glass and ornaments from Wanda Baker; wood bowls and vases from Jessica Bier; jewelry by Shauna Brown; wood bowls and pens by Jeremiah Bryant; Redbird Relics of repurposed windows and pallets by Rhonda Chaney; jewelry, hair bows, and grapevine art by Julie Clark; jewelry, wood crafts, and jellies by Rose Depew; jewelry by Angela Duff; paintings and Christmas ornaments by Frances Everage; quilts and Christmas ornaments by Stella Fugate; scarves and ornaments by Sylvia Hagans; goatsmilk soaps, lotions, and baskets by Jennifer Hall; cloth items by Delores Jones; deco mesh wreaths by Patrick Evalee; homemade candies and wood crafts by Rosemary Sloas; wreaths and tobacco stick crafts by O.T. Watts; and baskets by Frances Whitaker.
