CADD/Surveying students assist at scene of tornado

Students in HCTC's Computer Aided Drafting and Design/Surveying Program, who are also members of Skills USA, took on the project of helping tornado victims. They collected money, purchased items, and obtained many other donated items. They delivered $1,170 worth of baby items and cleaning supplies to Salyersville on March 15. " I am very proud of the students and their leadership for community service. The students really went above and beyond to assist the tornado victims," noted Tony Back, Program Coordinator. He said a special thanks to students Shelly Parrott (Belcher), Jessica Hollenbeck, Josh Collins, Michael Williams, Michael Bargo, Kevin Gregory, and Wayne Patterson.

Back said students plan on returning later to assist the community again.
