Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC) officials announced Thursday that face masks and/or face coverings would be mandatory for all students, staff, and faculty for the Fall 2021 semester, a requirement that would go into effect August 6.

Though the pandemic may be coming closer to an end, COVID relief dollars at Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC) are not. The college administration announced today that any students enrolling in the 2021 Fall semester may be eligible to receive up to $1,500 in stimulus funds.

The UCM opened at HCTC in 2005.The University Center of the Mountains (UCM) will be moving to the First Federal Center on HCTC's Hazard Campus effective June 28, 2021.
