Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson presented certificates to those participating in the HCTC
Career Craze Camp. Hazard Mayor Nan Gorman and Perry County Judge Executive Denny
Ray Noble joined in honoring the youth, including Chase Short, shown here at the Technical
Campus. This camp focused on health care. Abramson stressed the need for students
to receive at least a two-year degree or some kind of technical training or a four-year
degree all of which are offered at HCTC through programs at the campus and through
the University Center of the Mountains which partners with four-year universities.
