HCTC’s Dakota Makres to host Hazard’s Civic Night

Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC) and the Hazard/Perry County Chamber
of Commerce are proud to announce Dakota Makres will host the 69th Civic Night.
Dakota is the Coordinator of Public Relations at HCTC and a former morning anchor at WYMT-TV for a little more than three years.
This year, the program will look different than in years past. The chamber decided it would devote the evening to celebrating and recognizing the chamber member organizations who assisted and provided support in rebuilding efforts this past year from historic flooding in July 2022.
Civic Night will take place on Thursday, August 31st at 6:00 p.m. in the First Federal Centerlocated on the Hazard Campus of HCTC.
