What is Visual Communications?
Visual communications is the practice of using visual elements to communicate information or ideas. The Visual Communications Programs offers three certificates: Design Assistant, Digital Photography, and Mixed Media Design. The courses provided across these certificates provides the basic skills necessary to prepare and produce basic multimedia presentations, video presentations, images/photographs, and more. These certificates are a great add-on to any degree and can be used as electives in the AA, AS, or the Computer Information and Technologies degree. Get your tuition paid through the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship, if eligible.
HCTC is phasing out the Visual Communications AAS Degree Program and assisting currently enrolled students with a plan for graduation.
