HCTC Cares Disaster Relief for Kentucky

March 2, 2012 several communities in our area as well as across the state of Kentucky were hit with a tornado.  Governor Beshear has declared a state of emergency for these areas and the outbreak has been called the worst in 24 years.  Many of you have asked what can we do; this website provides information for HCTC students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends that are interested in helping.

Student Information:

A number of HCTC Students that have been impacted by the March 2 weather event.  HCTC is asking faculty to provide extra time and assistance to enable those students time to complete their course work, assignments and exams, including mid-terms.  Students that may need assistance from the college and communicating to their professors or other needs are encouraged to contact Doug Fraley by email or phone at 606-487-3086.

Donations:

  • If you would like to donate to the student emergency fund or to the American Red Cross via the Hazard Independent College Foundation, please contact Carla Seals at 606-487-3072.
