Funding Needs

HCTC is seeking $15 million (total including state and federal resources) for the 50,000+ square feet Intergenerational Center on the Lees College Campus in Jackson, Kentucky, in order to better serve Breathitt, Lee, Owsley Wolfe and northern Perry Counties. While replacing some of the most dilapidated public postsecondary facilities in Kentucky, the building will house programming serving K-12 school districts, community partners, job creating and training, and promotion of the arts. In addition to 10 classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces, the facility will include an auditorium that will benefit local schools and the community, as well as the college.

$480,000 for renovation of the JCC Auditorium/High Tech Training Classroom on the Hazard Campus.
