How to Apply

You’ll take five easy steps and have a lifetime of opportunity

Ready to get started?  Applying to the college is simple and straightforward:

  1. Create an online account and complete an application online.
    OR
    Download an application, complete it, and mail it to the address below... or drop it off at one of our six HCTC locations.
  2. Provide copies of your high school transcripts or GED test results.
  3. If you have completed courses at another college, send us an official transcript.
  4. Fill out a financial aid application.
  5. Send us copies of your ACT, ASSET, or COMPASS scores.

If you scored below 18 on the ACT in reading, English, or math, you’ll need to take the ASSET or COMPASS test.  COMPASS is free for first-time takers.
